We are a private household that seek a suitably qualified Personal Pediatric Carer with relevant experience. To provide on a rostered basis, round-the-clock care, to child with a severe form of physical and intellectual disability and confined to wheelchair.
Duties will include:
- Daily individual care and personal plans, monitoring of medical and physical needs on a 24/7 basis
- Care support and infection prevention, manual patient handling, and administering occupational aid to relieve discomfort.
- Assisting with daily living activities, dressing, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and performing a number of housekeeping duties
- Maintaining proper care records.
- Experience and knowledge of paraplegic equipment, how it works, and the therapeutic benefits including patient moving and use of hoists.
- A detailed job specification including details of working hours and remuneration will be provided to selected applicants.
